Earth Day messages

We listened to a story by Todd Parr and a beautiful song about Earth and then thought about ways we can do our part to help keep Earth a clean and healthy place to live!

Here are some of our thoughts...

One way to help the earth is to plant a garden....

Learning Continues from our homes

Even though we are not in class right now, we are still working and learning from home.  One of our assignments this past week was to follow instructions to make a "No Sew Sock Bunny".  Here are some of our bunnies!

After Spring Break and Covid-19

We planted grass seeds  so we would have Easter Baskets filled with fresh grass when we got back to school after the Spring break.  Ms. Quon took the baskets home over the break and made sure they were watered.  The grass grew fast!
Just after we left for Spring Break a very strong virus spread across Canada and the World.  It is called Covid-19.  It can make people very sick.

So, to keep people safe, schools are closed and we cannot go back to our classrooms right now.  But Ms. Quon knew we would love to see our baskets, so she was like the "Easter Bunny" and delivered it to our house -but making sure she stayed at least 2 metres away!

In our baskets was some sidewalk chalk.  Our job was to take our chalk and write a message to all the front-line workers to say thank you for working so hard so that we can stay healthy and safe .
Here are just a few of our messages...

And...here is a little reminder ...
