This week we had a guest teacher come in to make rats with us for the upcoming Lunar New Year! She had all the material ready for this very tricky project.

| We carefully removed everything and checked that we had all the pieces |

| Then we all got busy...stuffing, gluing, twisting! |
 |
| They are beginning to look like rats! |
We used paper clips and clothes pegs to hold down the spots where we glued. That way our hands were free to keep working

| We could twist the tails so many different ways! |
These rats are sure cuter than REAL RATS!!

| When we finished making our rats, we named them and wrote a little bit about them. They are nibbling on fortune cookies! |
